We loved the beautifully decorated room, but the shower water pressure was weak.

Parking can be a bit chaotic with poorly marked spaces. tight gaps can leave you in a tough spot. The entrance hall leans retro without a proper reception area, which feels out of place, especially when asked to prepay before seeing the room. The decor is dated, and the mountain view is more of a distant hilltop rather than impressive scenery. The thin walls mean you can hear your neighbors—a potential annoyance if you value your privacy. On top of that, being farther from the central attractions could be an inconvenience for some.

stayed 3 nights at thekendrick and it was sooo nice! the owners, nathan n his partner, were super friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome right away. breakfast was amazin, everything's cooked perfectly, and love the idea of check list the night before! the sea view from our king room was just perfect, we spent time just chillin there. plus, the beach n pier were just a short walk away!
only downside is that the room was on the top floor, and there was no lift, which was tough for my partner. also, parking can be tricky during peak times.

great location but slight noise issues
I enjoyed the stunning mountain view from my room. The breakfast service was prompt and delicious, with the traditional Welsh offering being a delightful start to each day.
The noise from the street could be disruptive at times.

Perfect for couples seeking relaxation
Had a fantastic time at this place, Val even went out of her way to whip up a perfect breakfast just how I like it. After a long day out, just chilling in their garden with a drink was the best way to end the evening.
Not the cheapest spot in town, but worth it.

Exceptional Hospitality and Beautiful Views
Our stay was wonderful! Will and Val truly went above and beyond, offering personalized breakfast options that were delicious and made to order. The sea view from our King Room was stunning, and we felt very pampered with the little touches like binoculars and bathrobes. The garden area was also a lovely place to unwind with a drink. The only downside was that we had to climb quite a few stairs to reach our room, which might be tough for some. it was an unforgettable experience!

Could improve with additional handrails in bathrooms.

The breakfast spread was a delightful start to the day, featuring fresh fruit and homemade goodies! Plus, Nathan, the owner, really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfy. Looovely touch!
We were on the top floor, which meant a bit of a leg workout up the stairs.

The Deluxe King Room with Mountain View features an impressive sight right from the window, offering a unique perspective on the surroundings.
While the room set-up was lovely, the coffee mugs could've been bigger for a more satisfying sip of the morning brew. The bath towels were on the smaller side as well, which was a bit of a letdown during my stay. It's a minor detail, but a bigger towel can really enhance the experience when you're coming out of a hot shower. Apart from that, I can't claim any significant downsides. everything else met expectations.
